This kitchen is in a beautifully restored 1890’s Victorian. The space in the 1970’s kitchen was very cramped. The owners decided on a small addition to gain additional work space, and dining area, laundry room and powder room. We designed a U-shaped kitchen with a utility wall for the built in refrigerators and the double oven. We also created a built in fold down writing desk in the dining area, and a butlers pantry with leaded glass doors, designed to match the original leaded glass doors in an adjacent room. The cabinets were a simple, but elegant white turn of the century style, and the proportion, molding and details were all designed to blend with the original architecture of the home.
